The Woodrow Wilson Community Council is official now — at Tuesday’s meeting we officially adopted the bylaws so now we exist. The WWCC is a sort of meta-PTA composed of representatives from the PTAs and SBDM committees from each of the elementary schools and middle schools that feed into Woodrow plus the reps from Woodrow itself and from the local early childhood PTAs, along with whoever else is interested enough to show up for the meetings.
Of course I haven’t actually done anything yet besides go to a bunch of meetings. I did suggest the name, so I guess that’s something. It will get me one year free dues. Of course there aren’t any dues, but still.
